Rotation

Sometimes images taken with a camera need to be rotated. After completing the scanning of your slides, negatives, or photos, Convert Memories reviews and rotates certain pictures so that the orientation of each digital image is correct.

Cropping

Cropping is the process of trimming portions of the digital image so it has a certain size and proper borders. Convert Memories performs this enhancement to remove any unneccessary borders that are carried over from the scanning process. The result is a set of digital images that are the same size.

Digital ICE

Convert Memories uses Digital Image Correction and Enhancement (Digital ICE-4 AdvancedTM) techonology to remove surface defects from being visible in the digital images. Such defects include dust and scratches from the original development process and handling. Most negatives will have minor surface scratches, and Digital ICE is an important enhancement in obtaining high quality digital images.
